I can't believe that more than 4 months have passed since my last post. But a lot has happened! So I'll walk through a few pictures and update everyone on Evan's beautiful life.
Here is my happy boy showing off his pearly whites.
Evan outgrew his carrier at about 10 months (his feet were hanging off the edge) so here he is with his brand new car seat.
Here's Evan in the ball pit at My Gym for his birthday party! Evan learned to walk right before his birthday party. And he's been going non-stop ever since!
Evan's personal birthday cake is on the left. We put it in front of him with cameras ready to film him making a mess. But one touch of the icing and he was done. He did not like the way it felt. So I thought that if he tasted some maybe he would like it. So I put some icing on my finger and let him lick it . . . and he started to gag! It was so funny. He hated his birthday cake.
After Evan had his first birthday, we were able to turn his car seat around to face the front. He loves to be able to look out the windshield. And to play with Mom and Dad who he can now see in the front seat.
Here is our spoiled little guy at Christmas. Since he loves the ball pit at My Gym we bought him his own to have at home (and he still loves it!) and Dad had to buy him his first power wheels.
Evan also announced on Christmas day to the rest of the family that he is going to be a big brother! Due July 25th.
Now that the snow is melted, Evan loves to run around in the backyard with Hunter. His favorite thing to do is play with all the rocks in the yard. And of course he has to have one in each hand at all times.
Here is Evan with Grandpa and Grandma Gramm's new puppy. Puppy just wanted to nibble on Evan the whole time, but Evan didn't mind.
Evan loves his quad. He's already a stunt man. He likes to ride it standing on the seat, or with only one leg on. And if he falls, it doesn't bother him at all. He just stands back up and tries again.
Here's Evan at his first trip to the zoo for this season. We were trying to get him to looks at the leopard in the window, but to no avail. This was the first time he got to ride in the wagon that we bought for him at christmas and he loved it. I bought a season pass to the zoo, so there should be lots more zoo pictures in the future.
As sweet as the wagon was, we still had to get out and walk around a bit. He had fun exploring and picking up wood chips.
We just found out last week that Evan will be getting a baby brother! The whole family is excited.
I promise not to wait another 4 months before making my next update.

Congratulations on having your 2nd little boy! You will definitely love having two little buddies close together! We have that same wagon and the boys love it!
