First 5 Years

Court and I have been married 5 years today. It has been amazing. There are so many wonderful things we have done, places we have been . . . memorable moments to last a lifetime. I'm so blessed to be able to spend every single day with the man I love, adore and respect. What an incredible start to a lifetime together!

Corn Maze

We went to the corn maze tonight at the Denver Botanical Gardens. It was a lot of fun. Except we went after the sun went down and forgot to bring a flashlight so we did the whole maze in complete darkness. I'm surprised we found our way out considering we couldn't even see the map or where we were going! But Evan walked the entire thing, he is such a big boy!

Evan excited on the way there.

Evan the witch.
And a double headed witch!

Comparison

Court and I are constantly amazed at how similar Logan looks now and how Evan looked when he was 2 months. So I thought it would be fun to post these pictures and let you decide. Which one do you think is Evan? And which one do you think is Logan?

Logan 2 months!

I took Logan to his 2 month check-up at the pediatrician's last week and he is a growing healthy boy! He is weighing in at 14 pounds 5 ounces (97th percentile), 24 1/4 inch height (90th percentile) and 15 1/4 inch head circumference (20th percentile).

He is so interactive these days. He loves to smile and coo at you. He also loves any mobile. We have a play gym for him and he just lays there looking at the animals and talking to them. It's really cute! He is so content. He hardly ever complains, unless it's about feedings (we don't miss any!), and he's already sleeping through the night! He also loves to watch big brother Evan run around. And Evan is the best brother, showering Logan with kisses and sharing everything from his toys to his sippy cup. I am so blessed to have 2 gorgeous boys and I know there are many years of happiness that lie ahead of us!

We had Logan's 2 month old pictures taken last week and there were so many good photos of him. It was hard to pick my favorites. I love all his cute expressions and smiles.

New Pics

This past month has been very busy for us. Along with the everyday craziness of having 2 babies under 2 years old, we also decided to take 2 trips this month, one out to the farm and one out to Omaha, NE to see my Grandma. Both trips went extremely well, thankfully. Now we know we can travel with the kiddos. Here are a few pictures from the past month.

Evan enjoying some cake batter!

Great-Grandma Gramm enjoying Logan.

Daddy with Logan.

Evan helping Grandpa Gramm feed the ducks. He had a great time throwing the corn.

And he learned how to drive while out on the farm.

Here's Evan waiting for the King Corn Carnival Parade with his cousins Casey, Taylor and Zac in Plattsmouth, NE.

Evan had a blast on the carnival rides.

He was such a big boy, I can't wait to take him to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm in January.

Here's the Gramm Family with Grandma Bev.

You wouldn't believe that it snowed here in September, so I had to post a picture to prove it. They were big fat flakes. I'm excited for winter . . . but I'd like to have a little fall first please!

Evan ready to go out and brave the cold.

The Rooster Says "Doodle Doodle Doo"

How Evan Eats

So Evan is officially out of his highchair and into his new booster seat. Which is good because he refuses to sit in a highchair in the restaurants.

Even though Evan knows how to eat with a spoon and fork, he prefers to eat like his dog.

Which results in this face.

And again, when we eat like this . . .

And this . . .

We wind up looking like this!

A clean Evan in his playroom. How can one boy have so many toys???
